WHO IS A BETTER COACH FOR MEDICAL SCHOOL INTERVIEW THAN A LOCAL SINGAPOREAN DOCTOR (GRAD FROM NUS) HIMSELF?
Dr Chung, a former straight As student from Raffles Institution, graduated from the NUS medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS. Following his graduation, he completed his 1 year Housemanship and 4 years Medical Officership and worked in the public healthcare sector for a few years. He is currently a Family Physician in the private healthcare sector.
Few years ago, his cousin approached him for advice on how to prepare for the medical school interview as he was shortlisted by NUS and NTU. Under Dr Chung’s conscientious mentorship, his cousin was eventually offered a place in both NUS and NTU. This experience sparked his interest in guiding and mentoring potential medical school applicants on the essential preparatory work and the fatal pitfalls to avoid. As such, he started providing 1-on-1 mentorship to medical school applicants to help them ace their medical school interviews (see testimonials HERE). From his years of mentoring experience, Dr Chung noticed that some fatal pitfalls commonly made by his clients are not portraying team spirit during the skills assessment stations, not showing empathy in response to scenario based questions and not being able to handle ethical situations well during the interview. These are some qualities of a doctor that the interviewers hope to see in their future colleagues during the medical school interviews. With a strong desire to help more aspiring applicants in achieving their hopes and dreams to be a doctor, Dr Chung has specially designed his mentorship program to help applicants STAND OUT from the highly competitive pack and ACE the interview. Being Singapore’s ONE and ONLY local grad Singaporean doctor who is a specialist in medical school interview, you can be assured of Dr Chung’s quality of mentorship and his high standard notes and preparatory materials. Dr Chung looks forward to welcoming you to the medical fraternity and be his colleague some day! |
